Objects as Time Machines

Growing up my mom must have either been sponsored by Ivory or Madison Ave. did one heck of a job

Growing up my mom only bought Ivory soap.  She was either sponsored by Ivory or Madison Ave. did one heck of a job because this was all we used in the house for the 18 years she lived there.

Visiting her this weekend in another state I felt like I was 11 this morning when I took my shower.  Freaked out.  The white THX1138 bar smelled and felt exactly the same.

I’m an Irish Springs guy.  Probably cuz of those white ropey sweater ads that aired when I was growing up. When I get home I’m going to slice off some soap with my pocket knife.

“peace” to the wifey.

i had the pleasure of having a short conversation with RZA last night at a Method Man/Redman show. RZA has always been, and will always be, one of my all time favorites. below is a great video where he discuss sampling the beatles, but the best part of the video is when his wife calls him. a sign of true, true love is when wifey calls and you answer the phone like he does. amazing.

this. is. not. cute.

um. I am really going to have some serious nightmares from this creepy little thing. I saw this on dlisted today, and I’m scared. Hold me. It is a cross between a mouse and a chick. That is some inter-species banging that just should not go down. I dont know what baby-mama and baby-daddy were sipping on the night this lil dude was made, but I might want some next time I go to Jumbo’s.

The poor little guy looks like he is trying to crawl out of his own skin. And he also might be the Craigslist Killer.
